Name the input
Slow resistance, textured rubbing, clicking, spinning and stretching create very different experiences. We group toys by observable input rather than using sensory as a vague benefit claim.
Match the situation
A quiet classroom tool, a travel fidget and a robust outdoor sensory toy have different requirements. Noise, rolling parts, distraction, pocketability and cleaning all matter alongside the preferred motion.
Plan for wear
Soft and squeezable does not automatically mean safe. Seams, caps, skins, gels and detachable decorations can fail after repeated use. Our method records inspection points and clear signs that a toy should be retired.
